Rutger Öijerholm
Chairman of Solar Energy Foundation and special adviser to the board. Mr Öijerholm has many years of experience in domestic as well as international environmental protection issues. Serves as chief legal expertise of the county administrative board of Stockholm.
"I feel that it is a question of survival to keep working on reducing the discharges that changes our climate and destroyes the delicate stratum that is the basic condition for life on our planet. From my experience - i. e the UNEP:s sucessful outcome for banning chemicals affecting the ozone layer - it is necessary to evolve concrete, functioning alternatives. In context; I belive in the strategy: support self aid in order to establish solar energy where it is most needed and efficient."

Göran Bolin
Also member of the board of Solar Energy Association of Sweden SEAS from the start. Göran Bolin has solid experience in management in solar energy industri , and as executive officer of Solsam Sunergy AB, holding several patents, the company has gained a leading position in the market, delivering 18 % of the large installations in the European Union.
"Building on, and encouraging local initiatives in developing countries, with support in the form of economic means, knowledge and transfer of know-how, will enhance the results of our joint efforts, and enable the speed up global usage of solar energy."


Nils Olofsson
Nils Olofsson has a Masters of Science in Engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Working as a consultant since 1978, he focuses on innovation matters, business development and early stage financing in young, technology based companies. Nils has been involved in the development of new energy technologies, primarily solar energy, for many years.
"Solar energy is, in view of the situation today, the main alternative and prerequisite to replace the consumption of fossil energy with its environmental disadvantages. In order to introduce solar energy on a large scale, also in non-industrialised countries, it is vital to have local support and entrepreneurship. For this reason I believe that our foundation will play a decisive role in bringing this to a realization."
